The Center for Teaching & Learning provides access to a number of lifelong learning resources for the professional development of all faculty and staff. These range in topics and delivery, and are all accessible by simply signing up using your DSU Canvas account.
CTL has licensed video content from Magna Publications on a wide variety of topics for higher education faculty and staff, including the following:

We are pleased to announce that all DSU faculty and staff now have free access to a large library of elearning video resources from Hoonuit (Formerly known as Atomic Learning). This resource is licensed with Strategic Planning funds through September 2019 (our license does not currently include DSU students). Training is available on a variety of content applicable to faculty and staff in higher education, including instructional strategies, leadership, online teaching/blended learning, Canvas, and software and technology (Microsoft Office, Google, Adobe Creative Suite, and more). Access to Hoonuit training is available on and off campus using a computer or mobile device.
We encourage all faculty and staff to use this great resource. See the attached file for more information about some of the offerings available.

Introduction to Teaching at DSU
This 3-hour self-paced online course was developed to prepare new adjunct faculty for teaching, but is open to all faculty. In this course, you will work with a full-time faculty mentor to create a syllabus, a Canvas course shell, and a lesson plan. Successful completers earn the Introduction to Teaching at DSU digital badge.
