Fall 2016 Canvas Workshops

Canvas Logo

CTL, in cooperation with IT Instructional Services, is sponsoring Canvas workshops this year. Below is the schedule for Canvas workshops for Fall 2016. During the first hour, we will give instruction on a topic of interest to faculty and how you can more effectively use Canvas. During the second hour, you will have the opportunity to work individually with CTL and IT staff on your own Canvas courses.

In addition, we will be offering open sessions once a month with no set topic. Just come and get help with whatever you need from the Canvas gurus!

  • Canvas includes several options for easily including video in your courses. We’ll demonstrate how to use My Media and the Media Library to upload or create your own video and how to embed video from other websites such as YouTube.
